Five Radical American Muslims Charged With Terror Conspiracy
Terrorism isn’t something we have to deal with much in Virginia, but just knowing about the five young Virginian Muslims between the ages of 19 and 25 who were charged with conspiracy to organize a terror plot in Pakistan brings on the stark reality that even on our own soil we can’t be certain of anybody else’s motives.
The trial ended on Thursday June 24th, with all five being sentenced to 10 years each in prison and an undisclosed fine.
The case highlights the radicalization of American Muslims and Pakistan’s lure to Jihad wanna-be’s from all over the world. It could happen anywhere, in any state, in any neighborhood.
